The Bow-chelor: Doggy Style - Episode 4

Tonight  I took Maya and Kena, the two cute Cairn Terrier girls  from San Jose, CA out on the town! I've never dated two girls at  same time, much less sisters!  This is going to be fun!!!

I decided we'd hit Broadway—The Great White Way. (Though it may be a little yellow by the time the three of us have walked down it...)

I met the girls at that classic Theater District restaurant, Sardi's on West 44th Street.

Here I am, waiting for the girls to arrive, rubbing elbows with big time Broadway producers!

Sardi's is well-known for their caricatures of famous Broadway actors and actresses...

Like Michael Doglas...
Or my favorite, Lucille BALL!

I decided to surprise the girls by having this caricature of the two of them unveiled and hung on the walls among all the Boney Winners!
I also arranged for the REAL star of "Legally Blonde" to join us — Bruiser Woods! The girls were thrilled to meet a real Broadway star!

Before going to the theater, we swung by a terrific event sponsored by Broadway casts and hosted by Mary Terrier Moore and Barkadette Peters...

It's an opportunity for people to adopt dogs and cats from shelters and support the Mayor's Alliance for Animals! YAHHH! We're hoping that soon New York will be a no-kill shelter city. Wouldn't that be just great?

Here's Barkadette with some greyhounds looking for a new home.

This little girl looks like she's taking home an Abby-lookalike!

So we were off to the theater! I decided to take the girls to see one of my very favorites...

I think it's even more delicious than Spamalot!

We were delightedly surprised to recognize some familiar faces in the cast!!!

The Knights were played by Sir Tanner of Doofushire, Sir Rocky of Rockingham, Sir Chef of Boxerford, and Sir Deefor of the Denverdale.

Parental warning: what follows is for mature audiences only. Puppies under the age of 9 months should only read with their parents permission.

After the show, we went backstage to congratulate our friends on their performance. Then I took the girls to another benefit. This one is kinda racy — It's Broadway Bares, a slightly naughty burlesque show featuring Broadway singers and dancers that raises tons of money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. (This year, the show raised over $870,000!)

Now, you may not know this, but I was on Broadway in a limited run, all-dogs and cats production of "Damn Yankees." I played The Devil, if you can believe it....

Daisy the Curly Cat was Lola...

Joe Stains, naturally, played Joe Hardy.

So it goes without saying, that I was asked to join the cast of Broadway Bares.
(Please note, I have a no-nudity clause in my contract.)

I was afraid that Maya and Kena might be offended, but to my delight, they joined right in!
Wow! Can those girls do some high kicks!!!

After the show, Times Square was all aglow with neon lights...

The three of us jumped into a pedi-cab to take in all the lights and excitement. But I had one more surprise in store for my fun-loving California girls....

!!!!!

Now to await their answers....

Sorry there are not more photos of Maya and Kena and I together, but paparazzi are not allowed in the restaurant and photography is not permitted in the theater! We would like to say a big THANK YOU  to Asta's Mommi for once again providing us with some sensational photos from our date.

Headline in The New York Times: "Dog Star Glowing So Brightly, NASA Wonders if UFO"

But we know better, don't we? Keep up the great work! Jackson now has a whole four-legged (and two-legged) army behind him. So tonight, make sure you howl at the moon loud enough for him to hear you in England!!!

Petey,I confess, was green at your double date with those cute girls.Going up town on your own.. I'm not even allowed UPSTAIRS on my own.

Dining out at Sardies, maybe one or two pawtinis looking at the glasses on the table? Seeing your idol Mrs. Ball. And getting to see the Broadway hit Bacon-a-Lot! I got a wiff of that best back maple syrup smoked gammon- sent me in a frenzy of delight, almost as much as seein' those two girls high kicking the can-can at Broadway Bares.
