My buddy Neko gave me this Honest Scrap Award that's been circulating the blogs. An opportunity to talk all about ME??? I couldn't resist it.
1.) I don't really know how to play with other doggies. I'll wag my tail, give 'em a sniff, but that's about it. I don't know how to play bitey-face or zoomies. I just want to play with people.
2.) I like to sleep in late. Sometimes I go to bed at 11:00 and don't wake up and walk into the living room until 10:45 the next morning.
3.) Everyone at the bank knows me by name. That's because I always get cookies when we go in there. Mommy just drops my leash and I run over to my friend Denise (or one of her colleagues) who always stop what they're doing to give me a cookie.
4.) I'm very vocal. I talk in my sleep. And when I get frustrated or over-excited, I throw my head back and howl.
5.) I love little white dogs. My girlfriend was Betty, but she just wasn't that in to me.
My next true love was a West Highland Terrier named Ruby - I was Ashton Kutcher to her Demi Moore. Here's a photo of me and Ruby.
Then there was Sophie, a sassy Maltese. Even now, if I see a little white doggie on my walk, I get all wig-wagging excited.
6.) While I love to run into the ocean, I'm not really crazy about swimming when my feet can touch the bottom.
7.) Almost every time I go out into the snow, I find a ball. Under a car (Mommy says I think they are big chickens laying balls instead of eggs) or buried in the snow. Literally dozens.
8.) I may pretend not to at first, but once I have clothes on, I'll keep them on for hours and hours. I wore my Halloween costumes for over six hours without a fuss - even the silly bee hat!
9.) I am nuts about kids. Whenever I hear the 2-year old little boy down the hall or our neighbors' two granddaughters, I run to the door and whimper and cry until Mommy lets me out in the hall to play with them. I have to stop and watch the kids whenever we go past the playground.
10.) I'm not a kissy dog. Very rarely will I bestow a kiss. But I do curl my upper lips back and smile when I greet my favorite people and wiggle all over. Mommy's never been able to capture it on film but it's pretty funny. Asta's and Eric's mommies have seen me do this and can vouch for me!
Okay, I need seven friends to now complete this list...Eric, Lacie, Amore, and the beagle gang - Alfie, Rosie (sigh!), Snoop and Gabbi!
Have fun times 10!
