Auditions this weekend...ready to go Hollywood?

Can a sophisticated New York city terrier boy find love and happiness with a beagle lassie from the Scottish Highlands?

Which is why we are filming an all-new version of this romantic classic, and an all-singing, all-dancing all-dog (and cats and hamster cast!

While the starring roles have already been cast, it's rumored Eric Square Dog will be playing Charlie Dalrymple and Toffee has been tentatively cast as Bonnie Jeanne (still awaiting her singing audition.) Lacie seems to be a shoo-in for the role of the man-crazy Meg Brockie, but insiders say that both Sophie Brador and Martha Basset (recently recovering from a slimming surgery) also have been in talks with the producers.

There are still many roles to be filled, including the hot-tempered Harry Beaton and comic sidekick Jeff Douglas.

So dust off your kilts, practice your sword dancing and start rolling your "rrrrr's" for the auditions this weekend. The full cast will be announced next week.

And of course such fine looks.

I am sooooo excited about a movie! Of course we will both audition for the parts!!! Aunt Bailey has had a call from Wimsey so don't worry. I think she was a bit miffed that he hadn't contacted her following her return from Bermuda.
It was a simple enough explanation - he had drooled all over her phone number and email! Well we have the same problem. i think Bailey will be in touch.
I am feeling a bit better today although it is sore when I move and I am needing lots of love. Thank you for the lovely get well card that really cheered me up!

Yours as always

Hey, Petey!

Count both of us goobs in for auditions. We'll do just about anything you need to have done, that is, if neither of us gets a part.

You and Rosie will be FABulous!

Goober love,

Taffy is hot tempered irascible old ... He wouldn't even have to act if cast as Harry Beaton.
You just cannot start to imagine what I have to put up with.

I cannot wait for your next feature length film. We were poised to get the PhotoShop for our iMac, but now there are many financial grumblings since the barn fire. Might have to sit this one out, but we'll watch from the sidelines.

(does that count?)

pee-ess: Mom tried to call France with her iPhone to make a reservation at the Italian restaurant - her plan does not allow such phonecalls!! Silly mom!

Hmmm I would love to audition, but if you have all of the girl parts placed already, I guess I am not very Scottish, but Mommy is!
If you need an extra, I am-Kira the beaWootiful!

Going to be a show stopper Petey! Thank dog my barkbox is fully broken or that might stop the show. Did you hear Toffee howling for me? She hold a beautiful beagly bark.

Wiry wags, Eric xx

Sniggering at Kira the BeaWootiful's 'girl parts' comment, BOL! Have you seen her bloggy? She had her girl parts on show too, just like Rosie....we think she needs some Air-tex bloomers, she'd melt with woolly ones, hehe!

Dearest Petey

You are such a dear boy - the skateboard will be invaluable. As it happens our house is at the top of the hill although there is a sharp bend at the bottom that I may need to be careful of.

My dear sister appears to be worried about moving! She worries about everything in life so I guess it was to be expected!

Of course we are both over the moon to be offered parts in Beagadoon. Martha has brightened up at the prospect of being a movie star. We are a little apprehensive that the part may involve bloomers but I expect we will have to wait and see!

Really Petey your Auntie's bloomers are something to be discreet about - not displayed on the world wide web! Oh you and Rosie have so much in common!

Dearest Petey

Thank you for alerting to poor Lacie's condition. I popped over to her blog and noted right away the need for a Scottish nurse.
Heavens one of the nurses was even asleep on the bed!
It is important to maintain standards Petey, I think you will agree and this behaviour is unacceptable.
I have advised Lacie that I will be their as soon as possible. I believe AireRuby is on its way for me now.
I am currently making a nourishing Scottish broth with lots of barley to take. I am able to reuse the thermos that you sent with the fish chowder.
You know how thrifty we Scots are!
Waste not, want not is my motto.
I will also be taking the ingredients for a hot toddy - known in Scotland for generations for its medicinal purposes!
Frankly drinking means you really dont care that you are ill - this in itself helps the healing process.
I will keep you updated with Lacie's progress but you need have no fear now I am going to supervise her nursing care.
If need be I will contact Dr Marvin - he has been advising me in the case of my dear sister.
Thank you for telling me about this situation.

Kindest Regards

Nurse Bailey x

Hey! Kira The Buttface hid this from me so I would not see that you are casting. Well I am a handsome Scottish border collie male, who can sing and dance!Check me out on Kira's blogs if you can find me in there sometime!

Sophie Brador said...

Petey! Clearly, that role has to be mine, especially now that Lacie is out of the picture for a few days. Besides, she is trying to date all of MY boyfriends. She even went on a date with Joey! I really hope she gets better, but I want to play that role. Besides, I am the former famous dancer, so I would be better at it.
