Meanwhile, Asta took on the task of choreographing the very intricate Sword Dance. It's exciting, thrilling, and a bit dangerous.
Unfortunately, she'd misunderstood me and thought that it was Square Dog Dancing instead.
However, she quickly found some instructions and got right down to creating a beautiful and authentic dance.
Big boys Ben Rotti and Noah have been swinging their swords around like crazy, barking "Mine's bigger!" "No, mine's bigger!"
Meanwhile, Scots lad Marvin took it upon himself to show his high flying highland fling. Lacie, now in charge of kilt lengths, took particular interest.

Looks like the rehearsal are going great. I have some (human) friends in Aberdeen who can give you some tips on the sword dancing. See

In my role as schoolmaster, I take a stern line on the kilt length issue. Two inches below the knee at least, please!
Cheers, Hamish.
PS That young Rosie is a real cutie, but a bit too young for me I'm afraid (sigh)
Ho great ! We cannot miss this post, it has an happy end!
Bravo Petey!!You make my day!

She is one smart Lakie
gussie
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!
Yes...we're thinkin' Gussie is right too...
Lacie spent quite a bit of time with her slide rule figurin' out all the measurements...we're darn sure she knew EXACTLY what she was doin'....
That last pic was enuff to set Mumsie gigglin' hard enuff to get hiccups...you're killin' us Petey!!!
Pawslaps!
Scruff and Stanny
Our word verrie is demismse...sorta like demise? Thank dog it's not Friday the 13th again....
Petey, Petey...
Lacie here...in the interest of the lousy 'conomy, I'm thinkin' you have purchased WAY TOO MUCH FABRIC for the kilts...they can be easily made even shorter.
Always tryin' to save..somethin';
Laciegirl
Oh...Mango needs a kilt. Period. No discussion.
Petey! Where I am? Don't I get to dance? I need marrow bones in my dressing room.
xo
SB
wow, Hubba Hubba Hubba, Jeannie says!
I bark to you Petey, that this looks like an absoultely spiffing production......
My J cannot stop laughing at the photos, they are sooooooooooooo good!
Thank you for letting me use two of them on my blog post. You are far cleverer than me at this photo editing lark!
Here's to a wonderful fling!
lots of Scottish Licks, Marvin xxxxxxx
Petey! I HAD to go and nominate you for bloggy of the month. Momma just saw the kilt photos and she got such bad laughies that she had to close her door at work (uh, wonder if that is work related).
This is the BEST EVER production!
Slobbers,
Mango
Heeruffhee!
Asta is doing very well with her dancing lessons.

Looks like all is coming along just great, I love the tail wags. =)
Petey,PL2 is crying she is laughing so hard and said that this is the funniset thing she has ever seen....This isn't a comedy is it?? Love A+A
Oh that Lacie, I love having her on set. She cracks me up.
Remind me to ditch that bere, I look like a sheep.....sigh!
swashling tailwags
Noah
For once in my life I am thankful that I do not have a tail! sheesh that lacie!! I sure hope Lacie doesn't get too bummed she was too sick to be part of the cast.
what a yummy title ... its good enough to eat... I wuv scones.
licks and wags,
Tuffy of Dog Woods
P.s. you think the censorship board would let the skirt flying through??
My oh my!
I am....umm...speechless.
Oh and I forgot to mention to the dudes with the swords that size doesn't matter, right??
HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! This show is a hootmon!!Those big boys weilding their weapons and arguing who's was the biggest made me quite envious. Asta's eyes were watering and nearly popped out of her head.
Wasn't Marvin the best? Flinging his arms and leggededs and accessories all over the place?
I could see Lacie took Toffee's advice to try the up and under looksee position. Her tongue was practically on the ground. Poor Lacie. Must still be dehydrated from her recent illness. Or maybe kilt making is thirsty work?
You know Petey I thought the no panties over your privates under your kiltie was a myth like Scotch Mist. Your production has proved quite an eye opener.Yes indeedy...
Eric xxxx
A love a man in a kilt since I am a Scottish girl (by way of North Carolina). This is a great production.
Your friend,
Niamh
