If it's Monday —it's TERRIER TIME!

Hey Mom! Turn off the computer and grab the leash. It's almost 4:00pm on Monday. And that means...it's Terrier Time!!!!
The country club golf course closes for maintenance at 1:00 p.m. on Mondays so me and my pals all meet up to play and race around. Here's my Scottie gal pal MacKenzie, waiting for us to arrive!

Hang in there, MacKenzie! We're on our way. Just had to rescue that tennis ball that was stuck under an azalea bush by the tennis courts. Those bushes around the tennis courts are a goldmine!
Here's Bailey, the 5-month old Westie puppy that Mom's a bit obsessed with. Sure he's cute, but he kinda looks like a polar bear cub to me.

Just look at that face. It makes Mom all ooey-gooey. Me? I don't get it.

Now what I do get is chasing after the ball with all my pals! Trailing behind me are McDuffy - Bailey's big brother, Bailey the squirtball, and MacKenzie.

Bailey and MacKenzie wait to see which way I'll run next!

Okay, I get it Mom, you think Bailey is cute.

And sure, everyone ooohhhed and ahhhed when the little tyke caught the tennis ball and carried it around...

But enough already! I can do that froggy dog leg thing too you know!

Not all the dogs at Terrier Time are, well, Terriers. Some are wannabes. Like my new friend Robbie. He's a bit shy because he's just 15 months old and this was his first Terrier Time. But look at that nice smile!
When a terrier nose gets a bit too personal, just sit on your Mom's feet!

C'mon, says McDuffy, and throw the ball again! Enough with the clicky box.

This is either BJ or Hilton — they look so much alike, I can't tell the difference! They're a fun bouncy brother and sister.
Okay—I've decided that this will be my MANGO MINSTER ENTRY photo! I'm at my terrier best, a bit scruffy, alert, smiling and ready to go chase a ball!

Now c'mon Mom, it's already 3:46!

P.S. Just back from Terrier Time and there were 12 dogs today - me and Robbie and McDuffy and Bailey and BJ and Hilton plus Westie Savannah and Muffy who looks like Bear and Welshie Cleo and Honey the Mini Schnauzer and Maggie the Border Terrier and Samantha the Weimeraner! Dog heaven! Good thing I found a tennis ball on the way over.

Excellent! Terrier Time...sounds like yappy hour to me! I see you have some wonderful friends for an afternoon pick up ball game. BJ/Hilton looks like Puffers used to look back in the day before SHE decided he needed less grooming. Do you know if the Scottie dates?
Just curious..

Hi Petey, nice cheeky pic of yourself for Mango Minster!
Nice meeting all your new friends - loved the Scottish names!
Our mum seems to agree about little Bailey - he is kinda cute!
Of course we don't see it - all your pals look cool - we kinda liked MacKenzie - a good solid sort of gal like ourselves!
You are just having the best of times!
love and kisses

Wow, what a fun time. That is so amazing you got to play with a Welshie. I don't know of any within the city of Atlanta. Play well.

How amazing to find so many terrier friends all in one place - lucky you, Petey!

My human is still aahing & oohing over Bailey (OK, you gotta admit - he is pretty cute!) but how funny about the froggy leg thing...I could never do that - do you think it's a small dog thing?

Slobbers,
Honey the Great Dane

ps. if I met up with a bunch of Danes at your place, they would probably think the golf course had turned into a race course! :-)

That looked like you had a great time, all those furends to run and play with. All humans seem to drool over pups, well I suppose they do look cute.

Ah bliss! Terrier time. Although I like to think it is always terrier time in our house....
But hey, great that you all get to take over a golf course for an afternoon. Have you ever considered staging a sit in and not moving. After all, golf is SO boring and unnecessary!
I am wondering if Donald Trump will allow terrier time in the fancy golf resort he is building just north of Aberdeen. Do you think it would be worth writing to ask??!
Cheers, H.
