Me and Mom and a Valentine for Lacie...

When Max's Mom pointed out how important it was to have photos taken of us with our people, Mom and I realized just how few photos we really have together.

There was this photo of us at the Halloween party at the dog run in 2008 when I was a dragon...

Bike riding this summer. Mom's not crazy about this photo because it was very hot and humid and her face looks like a big sweaty tomato...

...Here's a fuzzy haired Mom with me when we'd just been together for a little over a week! I was 5 months old here and look how big and handsome I was already!

Here we are at the dog run a few summers ago. Geez, Mom's sure been through some hairdos (and hair colors!) over the years! When they told her that I could change my color up until I was four years old, Mom replied, "That's fine. My haircolor's changed plenty of times over the last 4 years!"

This was taken during the big snow storm in 2006. Mica always gets nervous when Mom wears this hat because it looks like it's made out of him!

It's all about sharing years of love, love and more love...

And in the spirit of the season, I think I've found a great Valentine for Lacie. I don't think she was too crazy about my birthday gift last week, so maybe this sentiment will make it up to her...

Great photos of you and Mom - and our Mom loves all her hairstyles and colors. Mom has the curse of the frizzies too. Summers are the worst. We love her smile too. And oh, Petey, you always looks good.

About that Valentine, uhhh, not sure what to say:)

Hmm...so you've finally realized I have a fabulous bottom??? Good...I had heard terriers were supposed to be smart...(Lacie talks to herself...I AM NOT GOING TO REACT...NOT GOING TO REACT...then begins to SHRIEK even louder than usual....)

And yes "THAT NEW IRISH GUY" adores me and we have a HOT DATE set up for this weekend...

How nice of you Petey to suggest and even PAY FOR our airplane tickets to Ireland...but did you HAFTA get THREE TICKETS...one for Gillie, one for me and ONE FOR MY ARSE as you so commonly refer to it?

And givin' him that shovel in case I got stuck in the seat anyway?HARSH, Petey...

I am sure a dog of his obvious good looks will NOT be makin'
DEE ROG A TORY remarks about my fair NOT fuller figure...

You flat bottomed dogs are just jelly.

Kisses,

Lacie

Great photos, Petey. We think you could be in the movies. Mommy and Me. Photogenic models, you are. You don't even need fans to wind sweep your hair...

Now. About Mango. Fergi's a little shy. And not yet very confident. Though I have to admit, she's beginning to come into her own. She had the NERVE to growl at me yesterday. Imagine!

We'd better leave good enough alone.

Yours,
Jake (coveting your bike basket)

I don't think Laci will quite think the same way about the valentine. I love the photos of you and your Mommy.

We love the photos Petey of you and your Mom.

The NSLM's Mom has had more hair changes/styles/colours as well but she's learnt to be very careful and warn the NSLM well in advance now because he doesn't like change! He will spot a new colour or style before anybody else in the house (in fact the rest of the gang often don't even seem to notice!)

Anyway, we thought all your photos were wonderful today!

Have a great weekend

ps-don't thing Lacie really appreciated that Valentine!!!

Hi Petey
Please tell your Mom that she looks great in that photo of you on the bike! It's my favourite!
Cheers, H.
PS Anyone who construes this comment as a blatant attempt on my part to revive the idea of Gail buying a dog basket for her bicycle is, of course, entirely correct!

Petey! Great post. Me loves the valentine to Lacie girl. So she has a ginormous caboose? I've heard, but it can't be THAT big, can it? Oh well, this Irish man likes a big booty. Lacie is my kind of girl, me thinks... The Valentine's date is still on! Bring It, Lacie Lady! I'm so excited!

those are great photos of you and your Mom. Here's a challenge. Do you have any of you AND Mom AND Mica? We'd love to see them.

And we think the valentine says it all. I've already tried to warn McGillicutty, but I think he is in denial. Snow in Mississippi HAH

Great photos!! Like age, hair color is just a state of mind -- we have a few photos of our mom that are, shall we say, a bit different...

We're worried about our Irish terrier friend too -- we've seen this infatuation happen before -- with all the consequences. Fortunately, we've never been stricken!
