Today their dear cat Pixie went to the Bridge.
Maybe they are not stars.
Maybe they are windows from Heaven
where our loved ones watch over us.
Shine brightly, Pixie.
Where big fun comes in a small scruffy package.
Here I am in one of the moodier scenes. A dog, a vast ocean and a shrimp boat out on the horizon.
Practicing my trademark tennis ball peeling scene. I'm renowned for it. Note the extras in the background.
I was busy at work when these two little terrors, err, terriers got on the set and began pestering me for an autograph.
This is Scruffy. He's a bit younger and smaller than I am, but he's my stand-in. He's also my body double for fight scenes because he still has his, well, you know whats.
I'd hoped to be able to share with you the premiere of my first feature film "Run Dog Run!" starring me and Asta. But unfortunately, it's still just a wee bit too big for the blog so it's back in editing.
Just look at those nice smooth wood floors. Perfect for playing catch! And she even brought along my favorite tennis ball. I was really good and quiet for the first hour (Mommy's hair takes a LONG time) but then the second hour, everyone was playing with me and I was running all over the place! I had a blast! They said I was the cutest dog they'd ever seen there.
But no! To add insult to injury, she went over to Asta's house without ME! And stayed and hung out with Asta and her 2-leggeds and didn't come home until it was time for our last walk of the evening.
Look what I had to wear when we went for a REALLY short walk around 7:00. (Note: This is NOT a new photo either.) It was raining really hard so I just left one fast pee-mail and we scooted back inside.

It's Spring '09 Fashion Week in New York, so after church, did Mommy come home? NO! She went to the Charles Nolan fashion show. I'm a fashion hound. Did I get invited? No!
Isn't this a pretty dress that Dara wore the second time she walked the runway? Mommy talked to her backstage afterwards and asked her what was scarier—this or Beijing? She laughed and said, "Beijing....but those heels were pretty scary!"
...while Mommy dashed in a cab to South Street Seaport to participate in a reading of Walt Whitman's "Song of Myself." There are 52 verses and Mommy read...verse #50.
FINALLY, she got home around 6:30. We went for a quick walk - no camera, natch! - and then came home for dinner.
Mommy just got something called Photoshop on her computer, so MAYBE this week we'll have some photos from our awesome Boys-Only trip to Las Vegas. In the meantime, maybe I can do something so cute she'll have to take some new photos of me!
