Mica's Mango Minster entry photo and MORE!

Just saying...

Okay, if you haven't logged off in disgust, then your weather must be improving as well!

I'm still going through hundreds of proofs, looking for just the right shot for my Mango Minster entry. How about this one with my bunny? Still looking...

However, Mica has decided on this dignified shot...
Just look how handsome my cat-bro is—with his paws crossed for good luck. He's going to be 20 in February so I think he deserves a Lifetime Achievement Award, like at the Oscars! He's hanging out in New York with our pal Willy who knows to turn on the faucet when he wants a drink.

Meanwhile, look what showed up down here in South Carolina for ME! It's from Cynthia's Twigs! She's the super delightful lady who made my gorgeous bicycle basket with the polka dot liner and pillow. She is sooo nice and if you're looking for a basket that will hold a dog up to 25+ pounds, her baskets are just the greatest. Sturdy, comfy, removeable if your Mom wants to take it shopping, and very stylish!

Anyhow...look what she sent me! A brand-new lining and pillow in a chic Burberry-esque tartan! A real homage to my Scottish heritage.

Just look how adorable it is in my basket. I should be in an ad for Burberry! I just love my new cycling gear and love you Cynthia for your generosity and kindness.

Seriously - if your 2-Leggeds have made New Year's Resolutions to get out and exercise more, tell them to bring you along for a bike ride!

Coming soon: Crazy Buddy, Terrier Time pals, and more beach shots!

Mica's pic is just purrfect - her crossed paws should bring her good luck. Hope you Mom can find a good one for you too although that bunny one isn't bad at all. We would love to pull a bike but we don't think we would fit in those baskets. Your new liner is very stylish.

Woos and happy weekend, Phantom and Thunder

Your catbro is a very handsome cat.

And we love the basket. Mom wishes she had somewhere to ride a bike so she could get one for us.

Mom went all mushy seeing cutie pie Mica with his paws crossed. He will walk the Lifetime award.

Cynthia Twiggs basket if seriously fab with it's Burb lining.Does it match Mommy's Bike? You need a matching collar and lead too. Oh and Mom says the photo of you in the basket should be your entry - made her squeeeel with delight.I'm sending it on to Andrew he's looking for TOTO you know...

Wiry love Eric xx

Mica does look serene in that pose, and at 20 the Queen of the UK should be sending a Birthday Card and an invite to the next Garden Party.
We are peed of about your 62, we are freezing.

Very nice accessories. We think you need a burberry-esque coat for New Yawk, too.

(I recommend Snitchybug Designs.)

Petey! I am entering Mica in the cat dog category. Does he have a breed of cat he would like to include for himself?

Can't wait for your insane cracker dog photo.

Hi Petey, we just love the pic of Mica!
We agree there should be a special category for looking so good at 20!
We just loved your burberry lining for your basket. You are such a trendsetter.
We had a pull along buggy thingie for Harry but it was very difficult on the uphills.......our mum fees she is now to hold to cycle and pull two bassets.
Still we take your point - it is a great form of exercise!
Thank you for telling us your temperatures - we soooo appreciated that!
Can't wait to see your Mango Minster entry - we likd the bunny shot but somehow perhaps too sweet and not quite conveying your sense of mischief!
love and kisses

Hi Petey

The photo of Mica is lovely - she is looking very well for 20 years old! Does that mean Tinkerbell is going to be around that long??!!

Enjoy those temps - mind you, its got a bit milder here the last few days!

Looking forward to seeing your Mango Minster entry,

take care

Hurray for Mica. He definitely deserves a Lifetime Achievement Award, and he is looking SO GOOD!

As for your weather... STOP RUBBING IT IN, Petey!

Yay for Mica! Yet ANOTHER reason why MangoMinster should include a Methuselah category; Mr. Bufus is 20 years old (and is thinking he's got some stiff competition there!) as well - I think they all deserve lifetime achievement awards! And I am SO jealous of your bicycle basket; I tried that once during the Tour de France last year, and it didn't work out so well.... I think I'm too big and Mom and Dad have the wrong kind of bicycles.... You, however, are PERFECT!

You and Mica BOTH look very dignified!

Yes, Mica DEFINITELY deserves a Lifetime Achievement Award for reaching such a grand old age! Amazing!

You of my fave photos of you is the one in the blue basket. You look so happy and the blue brings out the silver highlites in yer fur.

I am gonna hafta yet HER to get an outdoor bike and take me on long trips. She has an indoor recumbent one, but that's just NO FUN for me...and after all, that's the impawtent thing to consider.
