a little spring fling

Earth Day in the West Village might be better called Mud Puddle Day as we've had nothing but rain for almost 24 hours. But yesterday, we did indeed have one of those picture perfect Spring days that make you want to slip off your shoes and tilt your face towards the sun. A couple of these snapshots are from Easter, but most are from a walk around the neighborhood. That's not our front door in the last shot, but the townhouse of good friends who are whole-hearted dog lovers, currently with three dogs, but in the past with as many as six at a time -- all rescues. Needless to say, their house is loaded with great toys and even better dog treats and Petey is determined to become a member of their pack. Sorry, pal, not happening!
